PUF pipe with heating cable is a constituent element of the pipeline in polyethylene foam insulation, equipped with a heating element to maintain a stable temperature. A heating cable is an inexpensive way to ensure uninterrupted operation of the pipeline at subzero temperatures.
The cable independently regulates the heating temperature of the carrier pipe, preventing freezing of the transported liquid medium. If the pipeline has not been used for a long period of time, the heating cable can be used to defrost the water supply system. For continuous monitoring of the maintained temperature, a temperature controller with a thermostat is installed on the cable, which allows changing the system voltage.
