PUF PE pipes
PUF PE steel pipe is a modern material for assembling pipelines for various applications. This is a steel pipe with a diameter of 33.5 mm to 1020 mm with a polyurethane foam insulation layer and a protective polyethylene sheaths.
Pipes in polyurethane foam insulation with a polyethylene sheaths are resistant to mechanical damage, deformation, protected from corrosion, and are suitable for laying in the ground. The sheaths ensures long-term operation and minimum heat losses.
Identification code review
Pipe St 09G2S (GOST 8732-78) 57 х 3.5 – 1 – PUF – PE
Let’s review the symbols for marking an electrically welded pipe in polyethylene foam insulation with a polyethylene sheaths:
1. «09G2S» - steel grade;
2. «GOST 8732-7» — Seamless hot-deformed steel pipes;
3. «57 mm» - pipe diameter;
4. «3,5 mm» - pipe wall thickness;
5. «1» – insulation type;
6. «PUF – PE» - polyethylene foam insulation, protective sheaths from polyethylene.

Benefits
Cost-effective use of steel pipes in polyurethane foam insulation with a polyethylene sheaths allows reducing costs. This is achieved through:
● Reducing heat losses;
● Extension of the pipeline service life (protection against corrosion, damage);
● Light weight that reduces installation costs;
● Minimum maintenance.
