Sverdlovskaya Poultry Farm OJSC was founded in 1943. This enterprise, launched during World War II, is now a modern and successful business, routinely upgrading its process equipment and applying the latest technology of industrial poultry and crop production. The poultry houses are fitted with foreign-made high-tech and resource-saving equipment.
The farm runs its own feed-milling facility to provide the poultry with well-balanced feed. All the purchased feedstock goes through the incoming veterinary production inspection. The egg sorting and packing process is automated using a Dutch egg grading complex. In the industry-specific rating Poultry Egg 100, the factory is in the top five egg poultry farms in Russia: in 2018, its capacity amounted to around 950 million eggs, which is equivalent to shipping 2,500 railway cars. Today, Sverdlovskaya farm accounts for over 60% of the eggs produced in the Sverdlovsk region.
