Overground routing
The overground routing of pipelines is used when underground routing is not possible: when pipelines cross ravines, rivers, roads, buildings, etc. Also, in cold regions with permanently frozen soils. Factory-insulated pipes in zinc-plated cladding on supports or bridges ate routed in a height of at least 0.2 m from the ground. In absence of obstacles on the pipeline route, underground routing is more often used.
